Rental changes in 2022 regarding renting with pets take effect on October 1st! There will be reasonable grounds for refusing a request for permission to keep a pet (such as keeping the pet would breach laws or by-laws). There will also be time limits for property owners/managers to respond to pet requests or the request will be considered approved.
